Asterida Villas - Stavros (Ithaka)

The rooms at Asterida Villas are awesome! They have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen with all the necessary appliances. The views of the Ionian Sea and the mountains are breathtaking. The seating area with a cozy sofa and a flat-screen TV is perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The bedrooms are spacious and provide a peaceful atmosphere. The private bathrooms are clean and offer complimentary toiletries. I felt like I was in my own cozy retreat.

The only thing I personally didn't like was that the studio room I stayed in had a balcony.

I recently stayed at Asterida Villas for a relaxing getaway and had a wonderful experience. The location was fantastic, with breathtaking views of the hills and beach. The facilities were great, although not ideal for self-catering. However, since we ate out every day, this was not a problem. The cleaning service was impeccable, with fresh towels and sheets every other day. The hotel was perfectly situated near other villages, such as Friskes and Kioni, which offered fantastic tavernas. The pool was clean and the view from there was amazing. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return for some chill time.

The pool was fantastic, with regular cleaning and a lovely terrace overlooking the bay. Sofia, the host, was welcoming and maintained the accommodation to a high standard. the air conditioning and heating were a great feature, and the apartments were nicely designed for privacy on individual terraces. the key connected to a card system for electricity was convenient.

Felt warm, but nothing to complain about.

The maid service was so diligent, they practically lived in my villa. The grassy areas in the garden were perfect for afternoon picnics. I could soak up the sun on the terrace while pretending to be a Greek goddess overlooking the sea, mountains, and garden.

They forgot to provide me with a personal shade umbrella for my patio, perfect for that sunburn look I was going for.

We stayed at this 5 villa complex and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and daily room service. the comfortable beds and full-size kitchen made us consider staying longer. the friendly staff and poolside bar were a plus. We enjoyed the great view of the beach from our room and the well-stocked kitchen.

The walk up the hill to the resort may be challenging for those who are unfit or have mobility issues.

The swimming pool tiles were dirty, and the towels were not washed properly. The cleaning service was not up to par, with a smelly mop and wet dishes left on the counter.

The daily maid service was a godsend. I mean, who doesn't love having someone tidy up after them? And the grassy areas in the garden were just perfect for doing cartwheels and pretending I'm a carefree child again.

Oh, and let's not forget about the free Wi-Fi. that never worked.

Really good facilities and cleanliness. Cute and helpful staff. Great location near the port and beautiful beaches. All the amenities you need in the village.

For families with children, my kids wished there were more activities specifically catered to them.

The pool was a definite highlight, especially in the hot weather. the convenience of being able to walk to the town without retracing my steps was a bonus. Stavros, the authentic Greek town nearby, offered a range of shops, cafes, and restaurants to explore.
